Our baby room is a bright and spacious area where the children have plenty of room to play and explore. With a separate sleeping area, the play never has to end when friends are resting.
The calmness of our sleeping room is in contrast to the stimulating environment the play room provides. There is a large array of age appropriate toys and equipment which will ensure that your child's developmental needs are met. The equipment is kept at a level which ensures that your child, as an individual can choose to play with what he/she wishes to.
Our baby room staff are carefully chosesn based on a special affinity they have with children of this specific age. They ensure that your child receives constant attention with lots of chat, laughing, singing and hugs. Our senior baby room leader has over 14 years experience working with children, most of this time spent with children under the age of 2 years, and she will be happy to help you with any questions you may have regarding your child's care and development.
When weaned your child will receive nutritionally balanced meals which will be prepared in house in our specially designed kitchen. Before they are weaned, and while still drinking formula bottles we are more than happy, once formula is provided, to make your child's bottles for them, fresh and as needed.
Although we do not supply nappies for your child we do have all teh other necessary supplies required for keeping your baby clean and fresh. These include wipes, a range of nappy rash creams and powders etc. However please do not feel you are unable to send in items specific to your child.

At the end of each day you will receive a written sheet informing you of your child's routine for that day. How and when they have eaten, slept and been changed. Their mood and behaviours will be discussed with you by the staff upon collection time, also any question you may have about your child's day can naturally be answered.
Finally, at Little Rascals we understand that leaving your child in the care of others can be an upsetting experience. For this reason we offer a free settling in period of 10 hours which can be broken up over the week before your child is due to start. These hours can be discussed with the staff and will be made to suit you and more importantly your child.
